Yumvote is a household meal planning app operated by Blinklabs Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we store what's needed to run a shared household experience, payments never touch our servers, and we don't sell personal data.
Only to make the app work: syncing plans, votes, and shopping lists between household members in real time, warning your household about allergens and preferences when planning meals, sending the notifications you'd expect (votes opening, plans locking, shopping updates), and understanding aggregate app usage so we can improve it.
Members of your household see your name, avatar, preferences, votes, ratings, and shopping activity, because that's the point of a shared household. Nothing about you is visible to other households or the public.
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time inside the app: open the Me tab and choose "Delete my account". Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, memberships, ratings, and push tokens. If you are the only admin of a household, that household and its data are deleted with you. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately in your App Store or Play Store settings.
Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. Most of this you can do directly in the app; for anything else, email us and we'll help.
Yumvote accounts are intended for ages 13 and up. Younger children can exist in a household as dependent profiles created and managed by a parent or guardian, without their own account or login.
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page and note it in the app. The date at the top always reflects the latest revision.
