Delete your Yumvote account
Yumvote is operated by Blinklabs Ltd. Deleting your account is permanent.
Delete it yourself, in the app (immediate)
- Open Yumvote and go to the Me tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm twice. Deletion happens immediately.
Or request deletion by email
Email support@yumvote.app with the subject "Delete my account", sent from the email address linked to your Yumvote account. We verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account, sign-in identity, profile name, and avatar.
- Your food preferences (dietary styles, allergens, disliked ingredients).
- Your household memberships, dish ratings, and push notification tokens.
- If you are the only admin of a household, that household is deleted too — including its meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists — and its members are notified.
What is kept
- Household history that other members still use (past meal plans and voting rounds) is kept for them but anonymised — your name is removed from it.
- Residual copies in encrypted server backups are purged within 30 days.
- We never hold your payment details. Subscription and billing records live with Apple or Google. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
