- 180 g Salmon fillet (skinless)
- 1 tsp Toasted sesame seeds
- to taste Black pepper
- pinch Chilli flakes
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1.5 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 stalk Spring onion
- to taste Salt
Instructions
- Cube salmon into 2cm chunks. Pat very dry. Season with salt + pepper.
- Whisk honey + soy + minced garlic + rice vinegar + chilli flakes + 1 tsp sesame oil for the glaze.
- Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high. Sear salmon cubes 60 sec per side until golden. Don't over-crowd.
- Pour the glaze into the pan. Toss salmon to coat. Cook 60-90 sec until sauce thickens + clings + gets glossy.
- Tip into a bowl. Scatter sesame + scallion + a fresh chilli slice. Serve over rice or with steamed greens.
